Assessments

We carry out full diagnostic assessments for dyslexia for both adults and children, using our team of trained assessors. Adult assessments can be online over Zoom or Teams. Child assessments are face-to-face.
All ADC assessors hold a current Assessment Practising Certificate (APC) and an approved SpLD qualification as detailed in the SpLD Working Group 2005/DfES Guidelines and subsequent updates on the (SpLD Standards Committee) SASC website. Our assessments meet the criteria to claim the Disabled Students’ Allowance (DSA) through Student Finance England (SFE) for those applying to University or Higher Education.
Our assessment fee for a private assessment is £550 - if you are funding the assessment yourself.
Our assessment fee for a sponsored assessment is £600 - if your employer, school or organisation is funding your assessment.

Data Protection Policy
“I had my 9 year old twins assessed at the Adult Dyslexia Centre. Outstanding service from start to finish. They enjoyed the whole experience so much, they have asked if they can go again! If the ADC hadn't been there..my twins' dyslexia would not have been picked up until it was too late.”
